Proofreading
This service is for copy that is ready for upload or to go to print. Submit your PDF, Word document, or Google Document to me to check spelling and grammar and query any inconsistencies. Transcription cleanup/proofing is also available.
Editing
My editing services run the gamut from basic copy editing, which checks for spelling, grammar, flow, style, voice, and consistency, to developmental editing, which includes line editing and fact-checking and includes a revision cycle after you’ve accepted or rejected my edits and answered my queries.
My philosophy when editing is question everything, so I will leave comments on anything that stands out, such as inconsistencies, needed structural changes, or errors introduced during the writer’s editing process.
This service also includes fact-checking of all proper nouns, dates, phone numbers, links, citations, and quote confirmations if needed.

Writing
As a lifelong learner, I started out writing short stories and poetry, then album reviews for my college paper, then liner notes and one-sheet ads for a record label, then music and restaurant reviews.
My editorial career has specialized in financial services and healthcare content marketing. I’m an experienced interviewer from subjects including low-fi artists and garage bands to medical professionals and researchers to C-suite executives.
